Shanghai Carnahan General Machinery Company has enjoyed over 50 years serving the globe with the highest quality and largest variety of marine seating.
In the late 80''s the founder Garnett Carnahan and his wife Caroline took their vision of world leadership in the marine seating and components industry to Shanghai, "Gateway to the East". Their vision has earned them the right to one of the oldest individual investment licenses in Shanghai.
This move has brought Springfield Marine closer to its global customers, offering quicker delivery and lower cost. With the manufacturing plant still located in North America we can reach all the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe, New Zealand and the Middle East.
Springfield Marine''s move to China has also open up many new opportunities for manufacturing of other product lines, including aluminum permanente mold casting, custom fabrications, weldments - including stainless steel, carbon steel and mild steel, pipe bendings, stampings, custom boat covers, and much more.
